Banana

Also known as banana move, banana left, banana right.

A direction for a performer or moving camera to travel along a curved path rather than a straight line.

In practice

The curve can preserve composition, reveal information, or keep movement a useful distance from the lens. Direction should be paired with a clear endpoint or rehearsal mark.
