Crossing

Also known as crossing frame, crossing camera.

A brief warning spoken before a person passes through the camera’s field of view or another crew member’s working line.

In practice

The call helps avoid unexpected obstruction but does not grant priority through an active take or hazardous area. Wait for acknowledgment when timing, equipment, or traffic makes the path uncertain.
