Color timing
Also known as timing, film timing.
The shot-by-shot control of color and density, historically through photochemical printer-light decisions and now also used for digital grading.
In practice
In film finishing the timer specifies printing values and evaluates answer prints; modern speakers sometimes use the term broadly, so workflow context matters.
