Walkaway lunch

Also known as walk-away meal, walkaway meal.

A meal period during which workers are released from duties and obtain their own food.

In practice

Whether the meal is unpaid, how long it lasts, and whether an allowance is due depend on the governing agreement and circumstances; production should state the plan clearly.
