Also known as poor man’s process (legacy industry term).

A vehicle-motion illusion created with moving light, reflections, backgrounds, sound, and performer motion while the vehicle remains still.

In practice

Coordinate interactive cues and screen direction, control the stage environment, and test how the composite illusion reads.
