SFX Makeup Artist

Also known as Special Effects Makeup Artist, Prosthetic Makeup Artist, FX Makeup.

An SFX Makeup Artist creates and applies physical makeup effects such as prosthetics, wounds, aging, creatures, burns, scars, blood, body effects, and transformation appliances. They design or execute approved effects, mold and fabricate pieces, plan safe application and removal, and reproduce continuity across shooting days.
