Secondary color correction

Also known as secondary grade, secondaries.

A selective grade isolated by color, luminance, matte, spatial mask, or tracked region.

In practice

Secondaries refine skin, skies, wardrobe, practicals, or story emphasis after the broad balance, with edges and tracking checked throughout the shot.
