Safety meeting

Also known as safety briefing, toolbox talk.

A documented briefing in which relevant hazards, controls, responsibilities, and emergency actions are reviewed with workers.

In practice

General orientations do not replace task-specific meetings when conditions change or special activity begins; questions and stop-work concerns must have a clear route.
