Location PA
Also known as Location Production Assistant, Locations PA, Site PA.
A Location PA supports the location team on the ground by placing signs and protection, holding working boundaries, guiding crew and pedestrians, monitoring doors or noise-sensitive areas, distributing notices, helping with parking and cleanup, and reporting problems quickly to location leadership.
The role is often the public face of production at street level. Courtesy, accurate direction, attention, and escalation matter.
A Location PA should not independently promise access, compensation, parking, or schedule changes to owners, residents, or crew.
Pre-production responsibilities
