Key Makeup Artist
Also known as Key Makeup, Lead Makeup Artist.
A Key Makeup Artist is the Makeup Department Head’s senior deputy, coordinating artists, cast assignments, call times, stations, products, continuity, touch-ups, and daily execution. They may personally handle principal performers while keeping the rest of the makeup team aligned with approved designs.
