Condor
Also known as Condor lift, boom lift, aerial work platform.
Film-set slang for a telescopic or articulating boom lift used to elevate lighting, diffusion, rigging access, or personnel.
In practice
Condor is also a brand-derived generic term in some markets. The lift must be selected and operated as mobile elevating work equipment, with trained operators, wind and load limits, fall protection, and power-line clearance.
