Camera test
Also known as camera and lens test.
A controlled recording made to evaluate camera, lens, exposure, color, texture, or workflow choices before principal photography.
In practice
A meaningful test states what is being compared, holds other variables steady, records metadata, and reviews results through the intended post and display path.
