Base camp
Also known as unit base, circus, basecamp.
A location-production staging area for cast facilities, production offices, catering, transport, large vehicles, and support services away from the active set.
In practice
Base camp keeps non-shooting operations organized while the working set remains controlled. In the United Kingdom and some Canadian usage, unit base or circus may describe the same function.
