Natsuko Aoike is a Japanese actress working in Los Angeles. She is known for her work in ‘Call Me’, ‘Edible Souls’, ‘My O’classmate’, ‘The Dandelion’, and many other independent films. Natsuko trained and worked in New York before moving to Los Angeles in 2015. She was born and raised in Kawagoe city, Japan, and was exposed to international culture at a young age, having lived in Saudi Arabia and later in the United States (Atlanta and Chicago). After graduating from Aoyamagakuin University with a BA in English literature, Natsuko worked as an announcer, TV reporter, host, and news anchor at CBC TV/Radio network in Nagoya city, Japan, where she hosted 6 regular programs. She left after 3 years to pursue acting, studying with director Tetsuo Shinohara in Tokyo and landing supporting roles in TV dramas “Misa Yamamoto Suspense” and “Real History Romance O-oku.” Natsuko moved to New York to report on MLB for NTV's “Zoom In!! SUPER.” In New York, she trained with James Price, Louise Lasser, Michael Beckett, and Laura Esterman, and notably with acting coach Susan Batson. While in New York, she collaborated with director/cinematographer Eddie Lebron on ‘Tegan Rei’, ‘Final Games’, ‘Midnight Show’, and ‘Call Me’, and starred in the short film ‘Tsuzuku’. Her most recent work includes Josh Tate’s ‘Mercy’. Natsuko also interviews Major League Baseball players and writes a column on their life stories for Japanese audiences.
