Mas Moriya is a software developer, AI workflow consultant, and founder of Filmclusive, an AI-powered platform built to modernize hiring and collaboration across the entertainment industry. His work combines software engineering, creative technology, and filmmaking, with a focus on building practical AI tools that solve real production problems.

• Before transitioning into software, Mas spent more than a decade working across filmmaking, television, photography, and post-production. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Production from the University of California, Riverside, he built a career as a writer, assistant editor, producer, and event photographer. His work has taken him from photographing live events in New York City to developing narrative film and television projects in Los Angeles. That experience gave him firsthand insight into the inefficiencies creative professionals face every day.
• Rather than leaving the industry behind, Mas began building the software he wished had existed. He taught himself modern software development and AI engineering, applying those skills to products designed specifically for creative professionals. Today he develops full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Firebase, Rust, desktop applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI models, with an emphasis on thoughtful product design and user experience.
• As founder and CEO of Filmclusive, Mas leads development of an AI-powered professional platform that connects entertainment professionals with productions while streamlining recruiting, project management, scheduling, communication, and production workflows. His vision is to bridge traditional filmmaking with modern AI without replacing the people who make the industry work.

• Alongside Filmclusive, Mas develops control software for Nomad Platforms, a portable multi-GPU AI computing platform. His work includes GPU benchmarking, telemetry, hardware monitoring, inference orchestration, and user interface design, making complex AI infrastructure easier for engineers and creators to operate.

Mas continues to deepen his expertise in GPU computing, Linux, distributed inference, and AI infrastructure while drawing on his filmmaking background to connect technical and creative teams. He is currently pursuing opportunities that combine software engineering with creative technology, including AI infrastructure, production engineering, and inference engineering roles such as Netflix’s Creative Technology team.
