Bio
Mas Moriya is a filmmaker turned software builder and creative technologist based in Los Angeles. Before starting Filmclusive, he worked across film, photography, education, events, and Asian American community-building. Through that work, he kept running into the same problem: creative hiring depends on trust, timing, referrals, and relationships, but the tools around it are still messy, informal, and hard to access. Filmclusive came out of that gap. Mas brings a mix of film industry experience, product thinking, community-building, and hands-on engineering to the company. His work is focused on turning the real way entertainment hiring already happens into clearer, faster, more useful software.

Mas works across product, engineering, strategy, and community. He focuses on the core Filmclusive system: rosters, availability checks, referrals, shortlists, client sharing, and the workflows that help producers, coordinators, and creative teams staff faster through people they trust. He also leads the company’s product direction, user research, brand voice, partnerships, and long-term vision for building better infrastructure around entertainment hiring.
